Heat Exchanger Chamber
What's the Heat Exchanger?
Network of tubes that the flames enter; cold return air is blown over the outside of this network and collects the heat as it moves out of the furnace and into the supply ductwork to the home
What's the Gas Supply?
Supplies the fuel to the burners and is controlled by the control board
What's the Pressure Switch?
Signals the control board if pressures are within expected ranges
What's the Burner System?
Generate combustion heat to be supplied to the heat exchanger

Burner System
What's the Exhaust Network?
Supplies the flame of the burners with fresh air since fire needs oxygen to burn
Circulates air by directing fresh air into the heat exchanger near the burners and out the other end of the heat exchanger network into the exhaust pipe
Routes combustion fumes (i.e., carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, etc.) to prevent them from entering the residence
What's the Drainage System?
Drains condensation created by high efficiency heat exchangers
